Theodore Chinis Theodore Chinis received his BSc from the Department of Electronics, School of Technological Applications of the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens in 2002. His undergraduate thesis was the Implementation of a Digital Finite Impulse Response Low-Pass Filter in Real Time Using the ADSP-2181 by Analog Devices.

He then received an MSc by Research in 2004 from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Bristol, UK. His dissertation focused on digital signal processing, entitled Immersive Audio Rendering Algorithms.

Professionally, he has worked in the Research and Development Department of Intracom, implementing real-time digital signal processing applications and completing his internship there.

He also worked in the Research and Development Department of MARAK S.A., implementing applications using microcontrollers.

He was employed by Olympic Airlines S.A. as an aircraft electronics technician, dealing with repairs of avionics equipment both on the bench and onboard the aircraft.

Upon the company’s closure in 2010, he was transferred to the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority as an electronics technician until 2018. He then transferred to the National Observatory of Athens for two years, and finally, with a new transfer, joined the Hellenic Air Force, where he works to this day as an electronics engineer.

He holds a drone operator license as well as certificates in offshore sailing and rigid inflatable boat operation.
